Peer review process
The peer review process is similar to that used by most publishers:
- The manuscript is automatically assigned to the Editor-in-Chief.
- An initial review is conducted by one of the Editorial Board members, who ensures that the article fits within the journal's scope and that the text is written according to minimum standards.
- If the manuscript passes this first step, the similarity rate with other publications is checked using the DETECTIA tool. At this stage, articles with a similarity rate above 30% are rejected without review.
- Then, depending on the topic and the authors' affiliation, the Editor-in-Chief takes charge of the manuscript or assigns it to one of the Editorial Board members.
- The manuscript is then submitted to two external reviewers for independent peer review. These reviewers must provide a detailed report justifying their recommendation for acceptance, rejection, or resubmission.
