Peer Review Process

Journal of Renewable Energies (JREEN) maintains the highest standards of peer review while increasing the efficiency of the process.

All papers submitted to the Journal of Renewable Energies are subject to double blind peer review for originality and scientific quality in the context of related research. The main features are listed below:

  • At least two suitably qualified experts in the field selected review all articles
  • All publication decisions are made by the journal Editor-in-Chief based on the reviews provided by the experts. The Editors in Chief will then decide whether to accept, reject or request revisions
  • Managing Editors provide the administrative support that enables the Journal of Renewable Energies to maintain the integrity of peer review while providing rapid turnaround time and maximum efficiency to authors, reviewers and editors.

Publication Frequency

The Journal of Renewable Energies (JREEN) is published online in June and December, two issues per year.

Open Access and Article Processing Charge (APC)

The Journal of Renewable Energies is an open access journal, which means all its content is freely available without charge on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. The authors can submit their works without processing charge (APC). Also, the public is allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author as long as they cite the source. The only constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the only role for copyright in this domain, should be to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the CLOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

Plagiarism Policy

The editorial board is participating in a growing community of Similarity Check System's users to ensure that the content published is original and trustworthy. Similarity Check is a medium that allows for comprehensive manuscripts screening, aimed to eliminate plagiarism, and provides a high standard and quality peer-review process.

Open Access authors retain the copyrights of their papers, and all open access articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License, which permits unrestricted use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.
